It has been pleasant to use a manual id for a content item, and changing the primary key to use both content type and id makes uniqueness easier and less stressful, but I can’t help but think that an automatic UUID as the id with a simple primary would be better.
In that case, perhaps use a “slug” column for a human-friendly URL which would be a unique index in combination with the content type?
